on topic of cooked vegetables, you're missing out some awesome flavors/tastes by not trying out grilled or cooked vegetables (depending on w/e you may like more)
for example, something not so common : get garlic cloves and do not clean them off , put them in some potato dish that needs baking for 1/2hr + then while the dish is out (im not talking saucy dish, just like a potato roast or something) try the cooked garlic cloves on their own .. YUMMM
that is if you like garlic, even a little bit !
same goes for onions, carrots, not really sure on celery roots or radishes but there's always a first
