Buy something like ribs or a pork shoulder and look up a recipe. It will take 3-6 hours in the oven but you pretty much just stick it in there and let it do it's thing. Tastes delicious and looks like you put in a ton of work.
Last BBQ I had I made a homemade BBQ sauce around 10am (viniger, ketchup, worcester, mustard, onions, garlic, liquid smoke, brown sugar) and used half to start the chicken marinating and half to use for cooking the ribs. Put the ribs in the oven and the chicken marinating in the fridge and by midafternoon you are good to go!
