I used to cook a lot (at least for my age + being a pokerplayer) but since I live in malta I didnt touch anything in my kitchen.
Just way to many great restaurants its ridiculous.
Plus an awesome sandwichcafe 5m from my apartment.

Made meatloaf last night. Started to take pictures but got made fun of for being a nerd for doing so and didn't finish. Wish I had. The loaf came out looking perfect.
2lbs of 80/20 beef
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 med onion
Worcestershire sauce
Ketchup
Salt/pepper
Olive oil
Soy sauce
Dice all vegetables and let marinate in 2 tbl spoons soy sauce, 2 tbl spoons of olive oil+salt and pepper for 15 mins in fridge. Remove. Add in meat and mix together but not too much just enough to evenly mix throughout. Add an even coat of worcestershire sauce over top and then flip over, do same. Then smooth out in mixing bowl or form into loaf and place in loaf pan, let it sit in the fridge for 3hrs. Remove and bake uncovered for 1hr and ~30 min at 375degree F.
Additionally for looks you can lay strips of tomato, onion and green and/or red peppers across top of loaf before baking. If you like ketchup (I recommend) then apply an even layer of ketchup when you can notice the meat browning. Additional layers of ketchup can be applied as well after allowing some baking time for the layer before to thicken and bond.
went to panda express to exploit the buy a $25 gift card, get two free entrees promotion but decided to buy a large orange chicken box instead which is ~4 servings worth. they mixed my order up with someone elses and only charged me $5.45 instead of $10ish and when they caught the mistake they tried to get my debit card back to charge the correct amount but the manager let it go for my troubles.
the last three times i've been to this particular panda express its been fairly late and night and they always take forever so they give me free food, free entree coupons, and now a hefty discount on my orange chicken. with the gift card promo i'm eating nearly for free!
in before a bunch of people hate on panda. i don't give a fk if it's "real" chinese food or not, i like the way the orange chicken tastes.
