Hello guys,

I usually play cash game full ring and personally, I think that multitabling by stacking suit verywell to fullring.

I started recently to play some SNG/mtt (10-12tables) and still multitable them by stacking.

But I am not sure if it is the best way or not. I mean there is really more parameters to take into account in comparaison to cash game. ( bb stack , early tournament, bubble, head's up, different tournaments buy in/turbo etc...)

According to you, what is the best way to multitable MTT ?

Like every answer here: It depends.

If you're autopiloting 9-man table MTTs with big player numbers (so it takes ages before you get to the bubble etc.) than stacking can be a good deal.

If you're playing SNGMTTs that are quick to the point of less than 9player per table then tiling is better because things like dead money change with less ante paid and also bubble factors are increasing. Also you wanna look what your enemies are doing when you're not in a hand which is practically impossible while stacked.

I play 99% of my time tiled and sometimes I get into a MTTSNG rush, register for 20 sngs/mtts, stack them and bubble less than 5% of it.

tiling or slight overlapping of tables in a tiled format is optimal ainec.

stacking and having a few hotkeys to move out tables to additonal slots is optimal ainec.

moert,

Is that layout saved such that when you hit your max table count that's what it looks like?

If so, do you just leave them as is the entire time? For instance, you are at the FT of the Hot 11 and have 20 other tables going, does the Hot 11 just stay buried or do you drag it to another screen?

Also, as you load your tables, is there any rhyme or reason to what type of tournament pops up where? Or are you at the mercy of the order in which you register?

tiled ftw! positions of the tables help you remember players/dynamics a lot better.

Nine stacks (reasonably sized tables) + detached chat box thing on 2560x1400 monitor and everything else (HM, TN, lobby) on another monitor. Organize tables in the stacks by game type; reg speed, 6-max, sng, omaha etc. Usually also have one empty spot for ft's.

Could have more stacks but I rather not have move my head/eyes around too much.

yeah, always presave layout on all sites where it is possible, disable aninmations etc, everything saves time/reduces ur mouseclicks and distractions to a minimum

If so, do you just leave them as is the entire time? For instance, you are at the FT of the Hot 11 and have 20 other tables going, does the Hot 11 just stay buried or do you drag it to another screen?

i drag it out to a corner or bottom/top so i can see as much of the table that i want to (sometimes drag it out completely)

Also, as you load your tables, is there any rhyme or reason to what type of tournament pops up where? Or are you at the mercy of the order in which you register?
yeah i just reg em and then re-arrange positions, then "refresh layout"

(prolly should use TN but im a donk w computers)
