1) There were instances of Multi-accounting. We've discovered at least three pairs of accounts, that had been playing exactly the same [tournaments] during a very long time period.
2) At the very least 14 final table have been played by two players of the Headquarters. Three players were on at least two final tables. "At least" because I foolishly filtered for 9 players, having assumed that Party FTs have 9 people (until recently they had 10).
All this on the distance of approximately 5000 tournaments.
Amusingly enough, previously Evgeniy [TeachMePls] to my question with respect to the number of "common" final tables replied that there had been only 5-10 with two [of his] players and none involving three players on a distance of 40000 (!) tournaments.
3) It is also "amusing" that two accounts of the same player played simultaneously on several of these final tables. I wonder if teamplay had taken place in those cases. :capt:
4) At the same time it appears that there were no direct order for all the players to play exactly the same schedule and from all 12 accounts. After the preliminary analysis we can see the "maximum load" in 15-25% of the tournaments, while 6 accounts loaded up in 40-50% of the tournaments.
This would have been the case if the players played independently, simply picking tournaments in the same range and periodically colliding with each other at the tables.
Accordingly, some open questions remain:
1) Were there any other Party accounts at the Headquarters, aside from the listed above? This is a very important question.
2) Were there teamplay [softplay] involved when two different players happened to be at the same table.
In addition I also have a question to alexeiv.
Respond for yourself [alexeiv appeared in this thread before stating that, even though he had been previously associated with the Headquarters, he had never personally been involved in multi-accounting or teamplay].
Here we have two accounts: alexeiv2000 and makatura13.
1) Why account makatura13 hasn't played a single tournament when alexeiv2000 didn't play?
2) On April 21, 2013 these two accounts played a $20 tournament in which they took the 2nd and the 7th place. Another Headquarters account took the fifth [no PUN intended ]
Let's record a VOD with the discussion of the events of the late stages of this final table. In the format of online conversation: you and one of our coaches. Ask all sorts of questions.
Oooh, sorry. From New Zealand so not very familiar with amendments and all that. thought it might be an awesome pun lost in translation. sorry for the derail.
From my personal point of view, I think you should not worry too much about high stakes mixed tourneys/games on Stars. Stars are very good in identifying cheating and from what I heard they had been closely monitoring all high stakes action for years. You are right - Russian do like mixed limit games a loy and quite a few are very good at them. As you've read, this topic does not really focus on Stars with their huge fields but more on secondary rooms.
At the same time I dont think anyone can guarantee that there is no cheating going on elsewhere - it's always a possibility when there is something to be gained.
There actually have been quite a few developments with respect to analyzing database and identifying/confirming multi-accounts. I did not have a chance to get to translating and reposting this information yet. Coming soon
