I mean there's gotta be a pretty big investigation of the known accounts likely to be involved (cdbr and intervention and thor??? but dont know thor's sn) and see who was funding their accts before and during the ftops immediately following the series 2 years ago. That seems to be when this convo probably happened but its a good place to start. Some sort of explanation from intervention and cdbr would be nice as well. There's gotta be a few 2p2 posters buddy buddy with sorel on here... especially in hsnl.

There's no way of knowing if what was talked about ever happened right now but then again there's no way of knowing if its not still going on right now. For all we know sorel could be playing the sunday million on 6 accounts right now.

how is not being fair to the implicated people, I simply stated what I would think if Sorel or JJ asked me if I was interested in a backing deal.
Also it's not like they don't have the option of replying to one of the threads and tell their side of the story, seems like they have chosen not to though.

i asked for details about what happened and he responded with no details at all except showing off that he knows about it - pretty much just like you just did. should he be praised?

I mean for sorels sake I wasn't going to post exact details but in germany after/during some ept rich fish asked to play hu I think it was plo or maybe chinese too. Games don't matter much sorel lost like 500k euro or some very large # to the guy find out later he's part of the cheaters who have scammed many known players in MC with marked decks playing hu of diff games. He borrowed a bunch of $ from some known people to pay the guy and has paid all of them back to my knowledge.

Ray I'm sorry I thought my post would be enough that people realize a lot of people knew about this 2 years ago heck Im pretty sure I've talked about it with you in a room but we know your memory... or you were asleep at the time.

There are many shady people in poker and our generation of online players need to start watching out for things much more closely. In the next day or two expect a post from me about a situation that is occuring that needs to be stopped. I been deciding how to write the post for last week and it's about time everyone is aware what could be going on. We as mttc really suck in live settings to protect ourselves and our otherplayers. We weren't trained the hard way to look for particular procedure things at a table that is out fault and we need to get better or just accept the fact sometime in the future we will get cheated for a lot of $ by people far less smarter then us. Just because we didn't make the effort to learn to protect ourselves and use common sense more.

Let's not get sidetracked about the topic at hand. I understand there are a lot of details to all of this, but if this is true (no matter how recent it is) I think it needs to be addressed and handled. This involves more people than just Sorel, but I think he has been given enough leniency over the past couple of years. He has history when it comes to things like this.
