I am not sure how the Facebook login works on websites ect but..

Having that as a registration option so rec players who cba going through all the registration BS (as they call it) would be advantageous!

There needs to be steps where players can progress too in tournament/ cash game!

To build there BR with if possible low rake.

Just like Stars offer SnGs 9mans/18mans/27mans/90mans/180mans>>>MTTs ect.

Chuck in some promotions where it gets players playing the less variance games to start, CG/Tournaments where the promotion is free tickets to play those games and get them started, if they get an $11 ticket to play the sunday storm for example or whatever there likely to walk away with a **** experience because there most likely not going to cash!

Throw them in 5x 9man SnG or a CG where you give them 5x the cap of the buy in so they have more shots/ chances of winning.

None turbo ones too, all new players dont like turbos from what ive seen with my fish friends!

Thats absolutely incorrect.Most fish like turbos and hyperturbos and thats why 180s turbo sngs,6max hypers etc had so many success before spins.They don´t have to waite a long time for the game to start and they are commited for a reasonable and limited amount of time.

In regard to this I would suggest,for multitable sngs,to do them "on demand" format,for recs friendly purpouses..The sngs just starts "when they want",and they dont have to wait for it.That would guarantee always a decent traffic on them.

Im just gonna brainstormed here and we move from there...

* Tournament Leaderboard as well as for different SNG formats
* Weekly/Monthly and Yearly Rakeraces
* Bring back the Double Douces Tournaments FTP used to have
* "Play against a Pro" Type of promotion like the one PS used to have for the weekly leaderboard.
* Annon/free hud tables
* Zoom/Fast forward poker
* A client that is Backer/Staker friendly in the sense to allow well known backers/stakers to handle their bussiness properly and faster regarding securing their funds from potential scammers like non-authorized cashouts, reloads, profit chops, allowed stakes, etc. It could also have a BAPs features as the sites serves as scrow.
* Somethink like a "Bubble Protection Insurance" for tournament players.
* Constant deposit/reload bonusses
* Cashout Tournaments like the ones they had on FTP where a player could just "cashout" his stack from the tournament at certain point
* A Client that have a "Favorite" feature for both MTT and SNGs and allows auto registration for both
* Build-in HUD, advance table organization and re-positioning and Hotkeys features.
* A "Team Pro" promotion where any player can gain that status/benefits based on merits and not based the site marketing strategy.
* Allow players screename change under certain criteria (games/hands played and/or x number of days/months).
* Tournaments with growing GTD everyday as long as the GTD is met the day before like a daily acumulative thing and when it overlay it will go back to the initial GTD amount and can reset at the start of the next week or something.
* Some type of tournament when players get their rakeback if they finish outside the money.
* Featured table of a major tourney on twitch with live commendatory (Saw it around here on another thread and i liked it)
* Run it once/twice for tournaments
* Bring "Golden SNGs" back¡!
* Rebuy Top up, instead of being able to rebuy when you have 1,00 or less of your starting stack you can top up to 2,00 all the time. So if you have a 1,5x starting stack, you pay 50% of a rebuy to get to 2 (not mine, also found it in another thread here)
* Dont display players names on the lobby to avoid seating scripts and/or massive bummhunting and protect recs also enable the "Join Waiting List" to be for a particular stake/format and not just for a particular table, for example, if i play NL50 i enter a NL50 Waiting List and as soon a seat becomes available i seat there, period.

I know some of these might seem "stupid" or bad to some others might not but as long as any of these suggestions leads to a more in depth ones that will benefit players i´ll be really happy, cheers.

How about the site says it'll honor Pokerstars elite status for x number of months, even as little as 1 month, to try to get regs/high VPP recs from other sites to change over or at least give it a shot?

Suggestions that haven't already been said:
- makes most if not all sats must play so you actually award seats and not just T$, thus making the target events bigger/softer and making the sats themselves more rec friendly -- alternately/additionally, sats could award must play, non-transferable tickets like in the steps system
- make survivor tournaments where top x% are all paid the same amount (ex. $1k buyin, 1 in 10 gets $10k payout) -- these are quite popular but I've only seen them live (PCA, RIU Reno) and would give something for the former sat grinders something to play instead once my above suggestion is implemented

Really gonna be interesting too see if this even lifts off . I mean the years of us moaning whilst Phil was obviously plotting to snipe in with a new site was always I back of my mind but it seems to good to be true. Ftp version 2 all over again?

I know everyone is not a fan of the new styles PS has implemented but I don't see why they still can't exist on other poker sites (albeit to a much lesser extent). I think PKOs (especially these), Bubble Rush, Win the Button, and Zoom should all be on RIO. Even a combination of these. Back before everyone hated Full Tilt, I loved the variety on that site. You had a little bit of everything.

I think Phil lives in Vancouver it would be cool to see a few live Run It Once events here and in Vancouver and throughout Canada with satelites online. It would be good marketing as well I figure that will be the toughest part of the business acquiring new players/customers.

Def should mix in some pskos. As much as mttc hates them, they are massively popular amongst recreational players. Just dont flood the schedule with them.

I did love the 7,2 tables from the UB days. Lots of rec players gambling was fun.

Would love Phil to come up with a 10 game mix that would maybe have something like badaci badugi etc. And don't spread so many variations like stars had triple stud and just deploy the mixed games that people actually play.

No site offers regular PLO Fullring MTTs (3$+) anymore, it's such a pity.
(For this reason I stopped playing online poker 1 year ago.)

And please don't forget to offer 8 Game and Horse MTTs.
(OMG, can't wait for the new site!!!)
