So far we haven't gotten as many posts in these threads as I had hoped. Some of the forums have quarterly or permanent LC threads, so I am wondering if we should do the same here. Personally, I am voting to continue monthly, but wanted to see if any of you guys feel differently.

Anyway, I hope all the US posters have a great July 4th weekend! Bet some pots!

I realized that this might be taken the wrong way. I didn't mean to suggest that I wanted non-US posters to have a poor July 4th. It's just that it is a big holiday in the US and that why I specified it. No offense, I would like everybody to enjoy the weekend, regardless of where you live.

I know we are not supposed to talk about poker itt, but yesterday I was trying out some no-limit (I am traditionally a limit player) and got dealt a pair of eights. I never know how to play that hand!

So the Republican Convention has started. What a crazy election season. Gotta say Trump scares me a little. On the other hand, he says what everybody is thinking and is a very successful businessman.
