my take on it is that he's been villager a few times, and been mislynched d1, so he is legit paranoid about being mislynched d1 again.

Since I believe he is a new-ish player, I doubt he'd make this same opener as a wolf, or if he did, it would have been worded differently.

I'm still not 100% sold, but I'm close.
