Who told you that? I usually ignore the very early d1 posts. But I disagree with many who think d1 is useless. It shapes the game for later usually. Forcing things at this point is probably good.

that's mostly it. i have always said D1 sucks and Page1 sucks because you can't really tell someone's a wolf by their opening posts. But I've been told not to completely throw that out. Maybe it's just a way to get me to trust my gut feelings or something?

Someone's first 2 or 3 posts usually feel useless to me. BUT when you only post once and then disappear, i am immediately suspicious.

Vixticator is a villager since it was earlier indicated that he gets lynched early a lot yet doesn't seem wolfy

TheNothing is wolfy because of post 109 - it's waffly, and it feels like a wolf struggling to decide how to react to something that isn't really wolfy but could potentially be construed that way by others

Early posts can be very useful, but you have to learn what to look for

Comparing the posts of someone on day 1 of one of their villager games and their posts on day 1 of one of their wolf games can be extremely enlightening in certain cases

I wish we had a database of results by player so that I could easily search back and find examples - it's too hard to forum search or go back game by game imo
