Any chance that points for modding could equal the mod's series average if the mod's series average is greater than three? If the mod's average is under three then the mod would get three points for modding.

kinda screws the mods who run the 1st few if later they raise their average.

and what it would probably be no more than a point or 2 at most

I meant the modding point amount changes based on whatever the mod's current/final average is. Only problem I see with my method is that it makes keeping standings more difficult.

just perfected the standings spreadsheet to do everything for me.

All I have to do is copy/paste the final scores into the results tab and points/standings update automatically

I'm awesome

excited to start filling in some results

you earn points for your position

if 8 people tie for first, they all earn 10 points

but then the next 7 spots are 'skipped'

in your example above:

I'd prefer averaging the point totals of all the spots occupied by people with the same score. That way the amount of points awarded for top finishes will be the same for every game. My example would be scored as

But your method is fine. I just didn't want the scores based on alice podiums like they were in RJ's recent series. Below is how one of her games would have been scored.

I feel like there will be enough players in each event to make sure there's rarely more than 3 people sharing points

Plus, my spreadsheet's already hardwired for the above format so as long as people aren't raging about it I'd like to keep it
