Well, then, what about a lifetime Mets dynasty, where they're in the postseason something like 80% of the time and actually winning a WS every 5 years or so at most...for the rest of your lifetime? Now it's a lifetime of pleasure for both.

I wonder if it gets boring if your team just wins all the time?
EDIT:
I mean, do you think it gets less exciting if your team wins lots of Championships, and is always in the playoffs, etc?
