With so few points, I think the rating movements should be fractional, i.e. not rounded. Losing 30 times 0.3 points = 9 points down, not 0.
Only round the rating when you post the rating list.
Dunno if that is done like that as well.
Like Ibav said, that's exactly how it works. Winning a daily challenge with 29 players gives the same boost as winning 7 straight 5-player timed games (assuming opponent ratings are equal).
It's tough to come up with a good system for ranking daily challenges because every "game" isn't an independent event. I'm open to suggestions though. Right now the best thing I can come up with to allow more movement is to keep cranking up the minimum uncertainty (which is what I did a few weeks ago).
I think the rating system does a good job of rewarding the best players without being influenced too much by variance, but it's probably too slow at recognizing a real change in skill.
