i guess sacrificing the 6 chain connecting the 2 on the right and another two chain in the middle and bottom and 5s go where fives go?

silly question really

you'd be holding out for twin 6s in the last roll if you preserve the potential 6 snake so it seems silly.

Wow I'm just now realizing how big the rating changes were, I'm sure that I din't have a 300 rating after playing just 2 daily challenges.

The rating changes should make zero difference for anyone who hasn't played a ton of games. Who are you referring to?

New goal: daily rating 1300+. I'm at 1241 and making steady progress, although today's sure won't help.

I'll race ya. I'm on 1240.

Although I'm not sure its a race that I can ever finish, I think my score has been static for some time.

Was referring to Treep, but maybe I am just misremembering my own rating from way back?

I'm looking at milmas win yesterday and its so crazy.

How does one get only 3 6s in the first 4 racks and choose to put one of those in the back?

yeah I noted the same thing.

Everybody else is playing 6s (to their doom)

Last time this happened, anton-09 got tempbanned and lost various of his DC "wins"

Just a matter of analyzing the DC´s and I think you can quickly see if TMI is at hand.

I would never accuse any specific person of cheating, and I do know occasionally people do crazy stuff and thats usually what it takes to win a challenge.

But your rating goes by how well you perform on average, and I'm just surprised to see someone so high up in the rating opting for a position that can only work to their advantage if they get exactly 1 6 in racks 4-8 and a 6 in rack 9.

yeah well, I´m not accusing anybody of anything either.

But I know how hard it is to play optimal AND win the challenge. Most people know how to play optimal and the wins generally come from playing more optimal than the entire field (which is very hard), or by making an unusual early strat decision that ends up well (which is easy but has high variance and will dent your rating)

milma scores consistently high, but won 6th of july with an extremely unusual play (everybody else plays their 6s).

Yesterday the natural play was to go for the outer 6-chain.

13 DC wins with 176 games played total is INSANELY HIGH.
I won 20 and played 1000-ish

My policy is to be very sure about something like this before I start taking away challenge wins. I'd rather wait until the evidence is overwhelming than accidentally accuse someone who's innocent. You can be sure that they have my attention though.

Sure!

We/I have no evidence whatsoever. Probably just annoyed someone plays better than me

You're clearly both cheating.

<-- 1 win in 1080 games played

Hey Derwi, when's a good time for you?

I'll be on occasionally today, but I should be free most of the day tomorrow
