k as long as zac is fine with it it'll be fun. How much do you want to play for? I'd do anything <$50 on stars (you're euro right?). We can find an escrow if you want, plus iron out the rules

I'm a euro without any of the benefits (poker accounts linked to US bank account). I don't have any money online anymore so not sure how to do this. Paypal? Through the fantasy football fees? I could put money on some non-stars/ftp site. I'm fine with 50 if you are. Imo no escrow is needed but we can get one if you want.

I'm unfamiliar with paypal. Should work though. I'm not sure whats happening with the fantasy league, if thats over we could just have OTI owe one of us money. I also have money on carbon and BCP if you wanna do it that way.

Official Rules

OK so the prop bet will run from 2pm 2p2 time on friday the 17th until 2pm 2p2 time friday the 24th. I will be competing as arooooba, bingo will be competing as TC.Degen. There is no getting people to play badly against us, and no recruiting people to come play against us. Person with the highest timed rating will win $50.

Anything else you want to add?

Yeah no problem. Keep in mind that with the way the rating system works the winner will be highly dependent on volume. I can give you guys access to the raw ratings data if that will help.

My only request is that you let the other players know that it's you playing under a different account.

Yeah, I've had to manually kick it off the last two nights. Looks like the same bug that was killing timed mode (TMI, but it's a caching issue on the server vs on my local computer, so it doesn't show up when I'm testing). I'm hoping to get it ironed out today.

I think its safe to say we've both played more then 73 games already.

That would be a completely different challenge. A week is much more intense, and volume becomes a factor as well.

omg rigged!

So i played the DC yesterday, but it glitched so that whilst it registered my entry, it didn't register me finish. Zac reset it for me, but i figured i shouldn't replay the game. Obviously i couldn't see the leading scores - i had a pretty good entry, but not perfect, so i figured i would have been top 8 but not a winner anyhow.

So today i look at last night's winner: 1st place: 33,898, 2nd place 29,910. I'm pretty sure my score was 33k, i think either 33,695, or 33,965...

Here's something that's really annoying me since the update:

When you place a tile and are waiting for it to show up on the board the New Game and Undo buttons disappear, causing the text box to be higher on the page and the top part of it is visible in my window and then when the tile is placed the buttons come back. It's minor and might even be intended but all the disappearing and reappearing is slowly driving me crazy.

There is nothing more tilting then playing timed, having someone join with two minutes left, they get down to the last rack with 30 seconds left, then go all the way down to one piece left where its obvious you're going to win, then all of a sudden they start undoing and trying a new setup to somehow finish with two pieces left when time runs out.

Hey, sorry about that. Looks like there was a weird situation where kokiri played the same game twice and the scoring code blew up. I took out that piece until I can fix it the right way. (Just means that people who fail to finish won't be penalized as heavily)
