I think you'll have to give us a better explanation why losing two bonus and crippling your 6 chain at the same time is a good strategy.

Probably and surely a mistake but i would go:

4
561
3

to keep the charmer open even if that rarely happens.

Both require the same amount of 4s, 5s and 6s for snake charmer but I like mine more because it allows you to 4-zone 6s with only two of them and you don't risk a stranded 5 if you get less than three 5s.

I do the same as Derwi. TH, expert TC troll.

But I'm not sure if derwi's setup could be better. This is not the first time I have this decision btw

Guess Spinst was the one playing as anon with good scores? Anyway, someone has to say it, it smells fishy.

I AGREE

BAN HIM

haha, lets just see how he played it. But a newbie like that scoring something so nutty automatically makes you think of tmi

Score of Spinst still not visible

If I do not win the DC today I am going to very slowly kill a kitten

Spinst setup was fairly horrible, but perfectly timed as those 6s came.

You can't ever accuse a newbie of cheating. Most of their play makes no sense anyway so they can occasionally luck into nutted scores, and good luck pinpointing a "fishy" play that you can put down to tmi and not just cluelessness.

Also, I won my first ever DC.

You could think that, for example, my blocking off 6s in Round 6 shows that I knew there were no more in Rounds 7-8, but no, I was just terrible.

Although I apparently discovered (luckboxed into) the advanced chain setup (with 5s) pretty early on.

I am so bad currently.

I agree with Paul here. We should do our best to welcome new players, we shouldn't accuse them of cheating at the first opportunity.

Yeah i was out of line as usual. I saw that my potential win (and i have the worst "win percentage" ever) was disappearing and i was kind of tilt.

Concerning Paul's comment, i'm not the one who could spot a fishy play. And remember, i didn't not saw the results when i did my post. It was more the fact that at the time, he played a total of 6 games, all of them in DC. Seems weird but i guess not everybody are button clicker like me with 100 games a day when i discovered TC.

Anyway, my bad.

It is a bit strange that Spinst only plays DCs on the account, since it looks like he/she has played some games as Anon too to only score 20k+. That said, looking at the games, I don't see any reason to suspect cheating at this point. Also I don't think Spinst is the one who made those high scores as Anon, since that player had a clear pattern with how they played, one Spinst doesn't seem to have.

200 tourney matches = 1000 tourney games completed, so time for a stat update.

Added game win percentages. Idk what the problem is with those 4-player tourneys, but results in those are significantly worse than in others.

Win-% in both matches and games is at least 50 against everyone.

Three toughest opponents:
3rd
In matches:
Spoiler:
Nobody, there is a tie.
In games:
Spoiler:
Dogfloss at 55.0 %
2nd
In matches:
Spoiler:
Nobody, it is actually a 3-way tie for first!
In games:
Spoiler:
Gaby at 51.3 %
1st
In matches:
Spoiler:
Consul, Derwi and Donk4 at 50.0 %
1st
In games:
Spoiler:
Consul at 50.0 %
Conclusion:
Spoiler:
Consul GOAT

Spoiler:
Anton is very, very close to average win-% in both matches and games, so you could say the average quality of opposition has been quite high, since Anton is 6th in Daily ranking.

Also the Daily ranking seems to be quite accurate in predicting the quality of opposition, in both matches and games the following players have done better than average opponent, matches played in parentheses: Gaby (40), Dogfloss (10), Paul (10), Dynasty (9), Zac (8), Derwi (6), Consul (2), Donk4 (2). Sample sizes with Consul and Donk4 are ridiculously small, better with others. Those other six are all in the top 10 of Daily ranking along with myself, Anton, Alex and Popcorn. Anton, like I said is pretty much at average, Popcorn hasn't played tourneys, so Alex is the only exception. But I've only played 4 matches with him.
