TH10 is a really good player. I don't think he has been around long but he seems to have figured this game out pretty fast.

Agreed. I played some HU timed against him yesterday where he used some non-standard strategies and beat me pretty badly.

+1. He used his sorcery to smoke me in a ~10-1 run at one point during the prop bet last week. My rating took a beating.

If anyone is in the mood to play around with a small feature that I'm the process of adding, go to http://triplechain.net/free_move

It's an open board with no placement restrictions and all dice available. It's still pretty rough, but should be functional. Just a couple things to note:

- to remove a die from the board, drag it to the gray square on the left
- "new game" doesn't work yet. If you hit new game, back, then refresh you'll get a clear board though.

wow haven't played TC in a while now but opened it up for the freeplay thing, then said what the hell and played the daily challenge. Made a few small mistakes, but now I'm somehow sitting in first.

question: how much difference would it make if all chains (of length 2+ or dice numbering 3 and above) were scored instead of only 3?

I'm thinking not a huge amount (beyond the name being nonsensical) since there's so much of a premium on making snakes.

I played a decent challenge today, but I don´t think it will hold for long - much better scores are possible
