My biggest concern is I'm not sure if claiming villager+saint is enough of a safety buffer to protect the saint.

I'm always suspicious of claiming, but not sure of wolves go hard in the paint like that if housenuts is wolfing.

Because I don't see an upside or a downside, but history has shown that I'm pretty bad with the mechanics of this format.

I think housenuts's proposition of mass-claiming is super high-variance and I'm not a fan

These two points are very much my thoughts.

I completely missed that there wasn't a deviant, so I feel less better about the claiming suggestion from housenuts.

Like, the gossip and tracker should use their judgment to claim if they have helpful information regardless (especially tracker, right?)

And since they're the only two possible power roles other than the Saint in this 6 player game, it's effectively the same as mass claiming, but without forcing everyone else to be plumbed for reactions

idk, it rubs me the wrong way

I also just realized that while we don't have a deviant, we could have a turncoat, so irtm being lolwolfy from the getgo could be a clever ruse regardless

It helps narrow the field down by over half either way

I'm liking Gad's entrance and I think they're being genuinely solve-y with regards to the claiming discussion.

Buttah seems to be pushing and giving their thoughts, but I'm not liking the post about locking in their vote so early. We need to be united and I think the lack of clarity around yesterdays vote was a detriment to the village.

I don't necessarily think irtm was super villagery in his reaction to the push, but he is right in that buttah is seeming more helpful than they're actually being.
