Hello everyone, and welcome to this lovely thread!

This thread is dedicated to the magnificent, the spectacular, the one and only Thingyman Magical Reunion Werewolf Game Invitational!

Here are a couple of important notes:

• The format is Vanilla+
• It will be a slow game
• There will be a post restriction
• The Theme is...Marvel vs. DC!
• The start date is July 25th (Thingy's Birthday )

Well that sounds nice and all, but why should I keep reading?

Well really what we need from all the players are their opinions on important matters such as EOD time (and SOD time), how large the post restriction would be, game mechanics/balance, flavour and of course whether Thingy is dreamy or super dreamy.

Right now the planned game set-up looks a little bit like this:

The Village
One Seer
One Delayed Seer (n0 peek returned n1, etc.)
One Roleblocker
One Vigilante
Two Masons
Twelve Vanillagers

The Neutrals
One Serial Killer (Has two lives, peeks as a villager)

The Wolves
One n1 Vigilante
One n2 Vigilante
One n3 Vigilante
One seer
One roleblocker
One backup roleblocker (is only activated upon the death of the full roleblocker)

So this could hypothetically reach f10 by the start of day 4 if every death goes through. That may be a little too much carnage, but I'll leave it up to the masses

Now the brighter people reading this post may notice that that is not 25 names. There are a number of invitations still pending, however there may well be room for people to signup (or signup to sub). I do ask, however, that if you sign up to play (but not to sub), that you have played in at least one of Thingyman's first five games (Lost, Masons Game, Lord of the Rings, Saw or Event 39c: Restricted posts).

Welcome everyone and thank you for accepting my invitation to this reunion game. I’ve wanted to do this for some time now and finally decided to do it, since I’ve been feeling nostalgic lately about “the old days” (for me lol) and I miss playing with you guys a great deal. You were all invited because you were in one of my first 5 ww games played in POG and because you all made a positive impression on me. By agreeing to play in this game you have all made me very happy and what more could I want for a game that starts on my birthday?

There are of course many more people from those first 5 games that I’ve enjoyed playing with, but I only actively sought out people who don’t play werewolf regularly on POG anymore. I mainly wanted to bring people to POG back for a game (or hopefully more than that). So I really hope no one takes offense by not being invited, seeing as some of my very very best friends are amongst this group. Luckily though, you still have a chance to be in the game if you’re one of those people:

I still have several invitations pending and because this game is really all about trying to bring people back I’d like to wait and see if I get a response from these. However, you can state in the thread if you would want to play and if the remaining invited people don’t respond within the next 5 days, then you got their spot! The same rule still applies though: you need to have played in one of my first 5 games: Lost, Masons Game, Lord of the Rings, Saw or Event 39c: Restricted posts.

So, with all that in mind, please respond in this thread showing your utter excitement and joy at such a momentous event coming to pass.

And also if the people playing could offer their opinions on a suitable post restriction, suitable end of day time and the balance of the game, that would be just swell

I'm thinking the village vig needs to maybe be reduced to a 1-time vig and then balance it out appropriately on wolf side? Because it's a slow game we wanted high kill rate, but maybe this is a bit too much.

What do people think?
