i guess I wasn't considering devaluing entries based on pushing agendas of fake loyalty, because mine sounds the most able-to-be-devalued in that regard and I wasn't really thinking about it that way at all at the time. I was the last person to sign up and was forced to make it pretty quickly so I sort of just word-vomited whatever came to mind.

didn't think that deeply about TN's no more spam thing, in fact I had no idea what that meant. i suppose if ibavly inferred what you have done then it could have counted against her; still, I think the strong emphasis on ALL seasons of survivor is a big eye-catcher. Gotta count for something imo, especially if we're putting vix in last largely based on his complete lack of knowledge of the show (I saw others agrees with me about that)

and re: necro's, I guess I just really like the way it sounds. It didn't say rushed or non-committal to me, just direct; and the content is really good. "very loyal" and "love it" really got my attention

Right, I kinda wanted to push you down a bit for that but we all think yours seemed like such a strong entry and that you'd crush challenges that it's hard to pass up on it in the first round. And I don't necessarily know if I'd classify those PMs as fake loyalty, just something that's going to sketch me out a lot if I'm drafting when someone makes sure to push that super strong.

And I got the no spam thing based on Krayz's posts about continuing to spam PMs in the thread, so I feel it's reasonable to think ibav knew what that was talking about as well. I do get your point regarding all seasons, do you see my point about the tone re: challenges in TN's PM though, and does my thinking there make any sense?

So as a late jumper-on to the survivor thang, I didn't read most of the sign-up thread and wasn't really up on krayz's spam posts, so if you think thenothing's meaning was that apparent then I will totally take your word for it. As for not sounding too confident about challenges, I guess I disagree. To me that just sounds like being humble. She already pointed out WHY she'd be good - no need to restate it. Stressing strategy could be a negative but she says it in such a happy-go-lucky way that I don't see it as threatening. "Wheeee strategy!". So in conclusion I'm still a big fan of her entry. Sorry for being so obstinate :-/

by the end of the post I forgotten that I'd initially agreed that the no more spam could count against her. I guess I wouldn't throw a fit if it were decided to place ajv in round 2 and put tn in 3, though I would still be against it

I don't know what to make of "No More Spam!!" in the PM. Initially I didn't think anything of it but given there's little to work from in an anon draft that could very well drop someone a few rounds. She's the only one who claimed to have seen every season though. That a good thing?

You have already in same conclusions, but here we go again.

1. Forys is IMO obv here. PM is very nice overall + he promises pretty big time commitment with an example.
2. Tehtoes. Nice overall PM with many good points.
3. Good PM + big survivor fan.

4/5. Ajv/necro. I really like that knowning strenths and weaknesses part. Necro says same good things like others, but just in a shorter way.

6.7 Vix/Willi Probably players who know nothing about survivor are picked in later rounds/Oops

I like having me at 4/5 and think the others are placed well also

Regarding the NO MORE SPAM - was simply a joke and I had no idea it would be included. I had one reminder and it seemed to come very soon after the first email. I have seen every season so I can imagine that would get me high up in the picking, knowing the history.
