i would like to hear some fresh voices on the m1ke/XX dilemma imo

basically everyone who has said their piece thus far has done nothing but find their way on my retart/not retart lists.

I can only guess, but I would say that they wanted to seer hunt in case I was faking. If you look at the kill it doesn't clear anyone new. If I really am the seer then I only have 2 villagers so they have plenty of time to kill them. Plus they get confirmation that I'm the seer when I admit to being role-blocked (which i wasn't really planning to admit at first but the day's events made me think making up a peek would do me more harm than good).

Also clearing up the role of one of my peeks makes people more prone to believing me, so less likely I get lynched.

So I'm reading through the thred looking for XX posts which might contradict his seer claim (basically, seeing if he has any posts that suspect me at any point or swiitch after n1) and unfortunately haven't gotten anything yet, but this post in the middle of page 9 (100 posts per page, late d1) is actually quite interesting.

Dan - not sure what you're getting at. I didn't think you guys would see that as a peek because I had been grilling Matrix the whole day.

"Taking the blinders off" could mean "I will peek you" or "I'm a wolf and already know your role" (although now that I think about it, matrix was inside the arena and thus, well, yeah).

Ya I almost quoted that along with my posts yesterday in my coming out post but decided not to since there wasn't much time to explain myself. It came after my post where I said "I have all villagers" as I was making posts to make myself look less like a seer and a less likely kill.

Reread my D2 - my peek would come across based on my "I have all villagers post" because Swiitch was my only villager post

It was a reference to the last 2 games we've played where I had blinders on villager Matrix d1 both games, and then this game I was on him d1 yet again. He even referenced it himself in this game I'm pertty sure.

Damn, there's no XX seer-peek slip-up.

It's conceivable he could be telling the truth here. Stranger things have happened.

That said, I still think XX is a wolf here, because I just don't see Mike being a wolf. I guess I could go down in flames on that read.

Anyway, I'm now convinced voting for either Mike or XX today (or even this week) is bad game theory. If we get to a week from today and it STILL hasn't been settled, maybe then. But I prefer going elsewhere today.

Because I really feel the Jeremy/Dustin interaction was w/v (OK I suppose w/n but Dustin's play given his role would be essentially identical to his villager play IMO), plus I think Sun Tzu hit it right on the head with the "amking stuff up" post.

I never can read him well, the one time I've seen him as a wolf I had him as my clearest villager (13er where he wolved with Hitch and FCBL). I didn't like how people were clearing him for his d1. And he caught my attention for calling me wolfy for a weird reason at eod on d2 so something didn't sit right with me.
