this is your best option. you'd have to walk like 3-4 blocks. i wouldn't want you to do that alone. hook up with other poggers if you can. i'll be really busy before the curtain. but if you can't hook up with someone, come early, and i'll walk you.

I'm flying in to SF but I'll only be there for the afternoon/evening. This just happened to line up with a California trip I'd already had planned. I'll be driving down the coast to LA with a quick detour to Pinnacles. I didn't even bother booking a hotel in SF since I don't know if I'll feel tired or want to go an hour or so south and get a jump on the sunrise. I make these decisions as they come, planning is for noobs. I plan what I need with me, not where I'm going to be.

all these years living here, i never knew pinnacle existed until a friend told me she was going there for climbing a few weeks ago. same person who gave the restaurant list, as it happens.

you can get an app called ZIRX to park your car. a guy will show up where you are and take your car, then show up later with your car wherever you want it. i can't vouch for it because i've never used it. am planning to try it for the first time myself. use code TRYZIRX.

you could also just take the BART in from the airport. BART connects to SFO, and the civic center station is just a couple blocks from the theater. also, if you are tired and want to crash in SF, parking the car will cost you a really stupid amount of money. you can BART back to rent your car, or i can give you a ride down.

Pinnacles has only been a NP for 2 years and its not supposed to be one of the more impressive ones anyway

i went to pinnacles. the only part i really remember was the drive there was beautiful.

it was over 10 years ago. i was there with my ex. and i think all we did was sit at our camp and fight. she kicked me in my sleep iirc

but the odds of me staying at one of your houses overnight or getting into one of your cars alone is very very slim. I've managed to live my life avoiding assault of any kind by simply being overly cautious and it'd be hard for me to change it now. I've mentally rigged myself for safety in this manner since I often travel without firm plans, and I will avoid even 1% risks when it comes to strangers. Please nobody be offended by it, seriously. Its not a you thing, its a me thing.
