Re: Rookie Werewolf Game Thread 2 - The Quickening

Can you look into the sma sisters and see what you think there? I'm leaning villager on both. Particularly look at day 3, I think xtsma posted some analysis that day and that was when she broke the tie on Icon/JV. csma also cast an important vote there.

Should be around post #775.

I'm going to reread MoneyMatt, he made a lot of statements where he'd say things like 'I'd be surprised if so and so was a villager.' almost all the ones I saw he told the truth on, so I want to see if I missed any there.

Re: Rookie Werewolf Game Thread 2 - The Quickening

The people MM generally said were villagers were villagers and the people he said were wolves were generally wolves. I'd hate to have to go on this though.

He make two crystal clear references to Zelic being villager and one clear reference to the effect of 'I'm sure if a seer peeked True North he'd see that he's a wolf'.

Re: Rookie Werewolf Game Thread 2 - The Quickening

Ok, I've reread csma and I get a pretty strong villager vibe from a lot of things, with only the occasional slightly strange thing thrown in. The voting on the jv/icon wagons looks villagery and her voting on the day xr8ed fake claimed also seems villagery. I haven't fully reread xtsma but the jv/icon wagon voting and comments look quite wolfy to me (this is the only xtsma stuff I've read in detail so far as it seemed an important section when rereading csma too).

Oh, I also noticed a couple of lucid's posts that look quite wolfy in hindsight but again it's not from a thorough reread, just a few that I noticed while rereading csma.

I agree with csma there I think. All we really need to do at this point is clear a couple more people and we can essentially auto-pilot to the end. Who do you think is a good lynch tonight?

True North?

Re: Rookie Werewolf Game Thread 2 - The Quickening

Let's make the list this then:

{csma, Xr8ed, True North, vuroth, xtsma, Zelic, Lucid}
This list should contain 4 villagers, 3 wolves.

Re: Rookie Werewolf Game Thread 2 - The Quickening

Didn't we pretty much agree that csma was clear? I am going to be afk for a while now and didn't get as much done as I would have liked now (doing about 3 things at the same time doesn't help). I should be back at the very latest an hour before night and probably a while before.

Re: Rookie Werewolf Game Thread 2 - The Quickening

Well I do agree, but I don't consider her so clear that we can remove here. Right now she'd be the last or second last in that list that I would lynch.

Anyone have any reason to think csma might still be a wolf?

Re: Rookie Werewolf Game Thread 2 - The Quickening

I'm not really surprised people have been suspecting me. Xr8ed is right, I haven't really been around, since I wake up late, and have to skim through a biloipn posts 30min before vote. It does really look like wolfy behavior or ****ty villa. As for the xr8ed claim of "what villager doesn't vote" I don't feel the need to vote in the early stages unless I get a strong read. The only time when votes really count are late game imo, and that's when I get more aggro w/ my votes. I've been out a lot of the time during evenings, and I don't want to throw out a ****ty halfhearted early vote only to have it send a verdict in the wrong direction or have it be used against me. In the game we played together, it was a turbo, and I had an hour and a half to devote to WW. And we both know that the a successful style in a turbo is diff than a successful style in nonturbo.

But yeah... bottom line is I look wolfy and haven't been playing my best.

I don't really suspect you much at this point, I'm just trying to find an endgame that leads to the village winning. :/

We can afford 3 mislynches but still need to pull 4 people out of that list I posted. And that list of course assumes myself, Snafoo and Willd are villager.

Obviously if everyone feels snafoo and willd are villager we're in good shape.

True North

I'm going True North right now because I think it leads to our best chance of hitting a wolf as well as our greatest information gain since there's been so much talk around him.

Are we going to lynch vuroth tonight? I really was neutral on him before tonight, but his reaction today just screams wolf.

vote vuroth

true north

how did he escape the "only way wolves knew xr8ted wasn't a seer was because true north was a wolf" logic?
