About Me: I like to imagine I like everything so submit absolutely anything you want - seriously. I don't have favorite genres.

For preferences... sonic >>> lyrical. I like 'interesting' sounds. I prefer more modern sounds. fast+happy is probably my least favorite tempo+mood combo. I slightly prefer female vocals over male vocals... And I guess that's all I can think of. Again, these are only preferences. Do what you want because I'm not picky.

Scoring:

• Songs will be scored from 0-10.
• Bonus points of 1, 2, and 3 points will be given to top 3 songs for a category.
• If I'm familiar with a song you submit, there will be a 1.5 point deduction.
• If you submit a song that I perceive most should be familiar with, there will be a 3.5 point deduction.
• There will be some sort of point reduction depending on how much a submitted song doesn't fit the category.
• At the end, players' song scores will be totaled and biggest total is winnar.

Note: I am not an unreliable person when hosting stuff. Expect this to be completed within a reasonable amount of time. Reveals should happen somewhere between 1 to 2 days from each other. 3 at most.

CATEGORIES

1. Vocal Carry

Submit a song with amazing vocals that are the highlight of the song. The vocals don't necessarily have to be the kind that would win a singing competition. Just awesome, passionate, whatever. For this category only, no vocals that are primarily spoken word, rap, or screaming/growling. I want actual singing.

2. Darkness

Submit a song with sound of a creepy or unsettling mood. I'm aware we've had similar categories to this recently, but I can't pass on it because dark songs are some of my favorites. The darker the better - it can be downright depraved if you want. Looking for sound here, not lyrics. I will accept songs where the vocals aren't dark, but the instrumentals are.

3. Dreamin'

Submit a song that sounds like it came straight from a dream. We're lightening the mood here. Pleasant dreams, no nightmares. And I want dreamy, not just chill.

4. Changing Sounds or Repeat, Repeat

Submit a song that undergoes a change in style. As in, it's a song and all of a sudden the sound changes and it sounds like a completely different song, but it's still the same song! The more jarring the style change, the better.
