I love that you showed your hand. I imagine that felt good, even though it was a (relatively) small pot.

I had to quickly go into the options and unclick "never show winning hand" in order to do it.

I do think it might have earned me a couple loose river calls.

running an amazing 15 buyins below expectation over just 5300 hands since moving up to 1/2, and down 10 buyins total. Im getting so frustrated. An occasional 10 to 15 buyin downswing happened at 50nl but hell thats still not that much money. Dropping this much at 1/2 in a rare shot by me is just so aggravating

Other than i think 2 or 3 big pots, all of them i got it in way ahead or slightly ahead and lost a huge % of them. Such poor timing for this to happen as i will prob have to move back down soon and it might/will be a while before i take another shot.

Yeah sucks but at least you'll hopefully learn from it.
I think when I first moved up to 400NL I was somewhat scared (scarriest move up for me, the others before went kinda smooth) and lost like 5k and moved back down to grind it back.
The thing I took away from it was that I did run horribly and got coolered a bunch but I knew that if all goes average I could beat the level and that motivated me a lot to get back.

You'll also hopefully not have tilted too much. It'll be somewhat sick for a couple of days when you look at your cashier and go "why did I move up" but once you get over that and realize that you were +EV and hopefully realize that at the end of the day the bigger sums didn't scare you as much as you thought you'll actually take your next shot with a lot more confidence.
