to me the most shocking part of soah's hand is that a full ring 3/6 pot limit hold'em game ran

it's not that unusual. I think a lot of regs must filter out the PL tables or something because they are always sick soft when they run... I have honestly never seen a bad PL game.

On this computer on this database I've won $8400 in 5k hands of 3/6 PL lol. 14 ptbb/100

Re: Post Crazy Poker Happenings to Share wiith Poggers here

soah,

your thought process on that hand is that his range is big cards and if he did hit that flop he'd be playing for a showdown instead of trying to blow you off the hand and the same if he had overpairs so 22 good?

Re: Post Crazy Poker Happenings to Share wiith Poggers here

people that min-reraise preflop and aren't extremely shortstacked show up with a big ace about 90% of the time in these games

I had an old note on him saying he coldcalled with KK

so basically I thought I had the nuts so I went ahead and slowplayed it to induce more bluffs

Re: Post Crazy Poker Happenings to Share wiith Poggers here

Here's how I would play that hand...

pf: fold>call>raise, fold after reraised
flop: c/f
turn: c/f

I think I'm too nitty when deep stacked for nl/pl cash

Re: Post Crazy Poker Happenings to Share wiith Poggers here

I usually don't raise limpers with small pairs and I'm not sure if I had a specific reason for doing it this time

just outright folding though would be bad especially when neither player behind me is a strong player that will apply appropriate pressure to limpers
