Re: Post Crazy Poker Happenings to Share wiith Poggers here

I ran some equity calculations vs AAxx hands of rundowns.

JT98-7654 are all 36.5-37.5% in equity. If you have a suit, add 3%. If you have two suits, add another 3%.
Higher or lower rundowns have less equity.

What surprised me is that rundowns with a single gap at the bottom have higher equity than perfect rundowns, about 0.5%

For example
JT97 > JT98

I wonder where that comes from.

Also I don't actually play PLO but KQJJ doesn't seem like a very good hand to call threebets with.
Not this. Pre is fine. Folding to the 3 bet IP would be grounds for a permaban

This has been discussed a lot in SSPLO. Ultimately it doesn't matter, you'd still rather not have a gap for the sake of post-flop playability. As they say post-flop playability trumps pre-flop equity.

In position that is pretty much true. OOP, not necessarily.

In position I would indeed hardly ever fold to a 3-bet, except with something like an ace and a pair vs someone who probably has aces. Even IP not worth it.
