You can be comfortably behind with the nuts in plo even when your opponent only holds draws, iirc.

Yeah, for example:

Hand 1: K Q 9 8
Hand 2: J J 6 2
Flop: J T 4

Hand 1 has 61.83% equity.

Make that second hand JJ44 and it gets even better for the draw.

I think that is the max you can squeeze out vs top set. Not too shabby

Re: Post Crazy Poker Happenings to Share wiith Poggers here

dropped like 250-300 in a 25/50 game

was a super sick table though, most players are 1k bb deep +, at the end when I was down to 150bb my only options were basiclaly push/fp;d

I imagine because it was potted multiple times preflop. Not too uncommon in PLO games.

Re: Post Crazy Poker Happenings to Share wiith Poggers here

It ended up being almost all NLHE. So standard open raise was to about 50 (1/2 shekel), bets of 4-5x pot were not uncommon.

Apparently one of the regs ended up 11k last week or something retarded like that.

this post explained it for me lol.

I was thinking yeah with 3 bb that is really push fold.

sick game tho ibav.

i had 884xx in PLO8 game the other day with ~$400 behind OTB. villain covers.

blinds $1/$2. gets opened from early position for $15 2 callers. I call. 4 to the flop

flop 844 ($60) early position leads for $60 villain calls. I call.

with no real draw to the low myself. and my oppents likely drawing to 4 outs for the HI between the 2. how bad is flatting here?

turn J. board 844J. ($240)

first guy checks. villain checks. I pot it. first guy folds villain rr to put me all in. I call.

he has JJA2x. bad times.

you'll never fold the nuts in plo unless you are like 300bbs deep
