Yesterday I had the luckiest day of my life. I was so lucky that I didnt even play that good.
It was the 3 dollar rebuy.
After the fourth break I was the chip leader with a 500 k stack. At that point there were about 400 players left.
Then my luckbox continue to produce wonders and at the point there were about 100 players left I was still the chip leader.
I continued to kick ass until theyre were about 15 players left, when I lost a huge all-in. However since my chip lead was so massive I took fourth place for $1610.
At one point I had 4,6 million chips out of a total 21.

I bet he [censored] his pants when that Q came ruining his top pair.

GT recognized his name. Thoughts on his game? He was +$400 at one point and when I left about 300 hands later, he was $800 down.

He used to be super-hyper aggressive at 2/4. I guess he ran well, cause I saw him move to 3/6 and then to 5/10. Then I saw him at 3/6, then I played with him last week at 2/4, and now he's at 1/2. He was considerably less aggressive the second go around that I played with him.

Do you make it mostly by smallball or longball at these limits?

I play 6-9 tables of 2/4 mostly, at night, usually 1-2 of them are 3/6 NL.

I just try to win more big pots than I lose. I figure most of the raise pf/take down with c-bet stuff evens out vs. the regulars, and gives me some nice small bonus against the fish, but all the real money comes from how you play the big pots. I play a TAG style, running lately at like 20/16 or so (even though my overall stats for all hands show me at like 17/12 from when I was learning), and it seems to work well for me .

I've given up on ring nolimit. I tilt too easily with suckouts.

MTT is my preferred MO now, with a touch of STT or limit, depending onhow much time I have (hour or more STT, < 1 hour, some limit).

Got stacked 3 hands in a row for max buyin today. 3 times set over set.
The good news is that I did not tilt a single bit and played pretty good after that.

Hasnt been a very happy New Year for me.....killer break even stretch is hopefully over now...
