he slowrolled someone earlier. then he miscalled his hand as a flush instead of the 9 high (with no relevant suits) vs someone else. i had no interaction with him up to that point and i raised, he shipped into me and i snapped with kk and he had j2o and hit a j on the flop and a j on the turn to win the hand and then proceeded to scream justice and berate me for the next 10 minutes. i finally hit a straight against him. he shipped top pair no kicker and mhig. i looked dejected when we got it in. i stared at my hand for a long time at showdown. i winked at the guy across the table from me. i showed my neighbors my hand and finally i flipped my hand and said "i think that's a straight" He started to call me a tough guy and started threatening my life at which point he got up to go get more chips from the cage but was cordially escorted from casino premises.

Btw I do this regularly and play smaller stakes than what I normally play. The regs at higher limits definitely wonder what you're doing playing smaller and can usually guess but, yeah, **** them.

utg has 140 in his stack. he opens $40. mp pro has KK and makes it 160. i call otb. utg calls all in. me and pro have 1500 effective

flop is 976r, and pro checks. my friend who is a very good says this is a great check. i thought it was a terrible check. what do you guys think?

Unless hands like A9-A6 are in your "take two to the face" range, the check looks good.
