The board was 6c7s9c,7d,Qc. He may have been bluffing on the all-in given the betting pattern (I'd say about 40% or higher chance he was), but it also suggested a flush or straight draw (though of course I was on the straight draw too).

I knew I'd be able to push for 25% if I folded, and 650 is better than 320 (the real 4th place prize).

well, 4th place is its own mini-bubble. I'd been tight for a while, they were not superaggressive, I figured my x3BB raise would push off small hands, but it wasn't enough to be committed.

Anyway, I can be weak-tight with a middle-sized stack.


And anyway, the blinds/antes were pretty small compared to stacks.
