So I whipped up a little spreadsheet for calculating stars bonus based on base vpp per month given that you are starting the year at SN. (I am not figuring on you actually losing SN status, and I am not figuring it if you start out at SNE, because if you are there already you can do your own damn math )

At the end, it assumes you take all milestone bonuses (ldo, who wouldn't), and tells you your total with both the .015 rate and the concierge rate (which is like .01619 or something, $3k/186kFPP)

If anyone wants me to run some numbers just let me know.

Also, wtf is up with there not being a 1M base FPP milestone bonus?

well, when you become SNE you get free entry into FCOOP ME and 2 $10k events to choose from

so that kinda makes up for it a bit

Herbie,

yeah, running the numbers is pretty eye opening. If you can do 200k points per month (5500ish 5/10 limit hands /day, but every day) your bonus comes out to right around a quarter of a million.

the 42k VPP calculation is for ~2500 hands of 3/6 limit per day

you could run -.3 BB/100 and be break even when you factor in the milestone bonus $. and that doesn't even include the other bonuses.

at -.75 BB/100 you'd be breakeven w/ all bonuses...

wow. there's hope for me yet!

I calculated that if I play 4 tables of $1/$2 limit, 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks a month, after 9 months I can hit the wimpy SN (NOT Elite) level...

And that is just a lot of recreational poker for me to play...

So I just plod along at Silverstar...
