I would like to hear from eb at some point. I've gone from being 50/50 on InD, to mostly clearing him. Everyone else, I still have doubts about.

I was actually thinking last night that I jumped the gun on this one and Carl being chameleon was starting to make a lot more sense.

The problem was that all the other clues hit the word so directly, but also in an unobvious sort of way. Books was such a chameleony clue to give, so that left ind as the odd one out. I wish I could take back coming out so hard against ind. That was pretty dumb of me, but lesson learned.

Carl got super lucky with that clue tbh. Also, a couple of those clues made googling the word way too easy, so the chameleon was always going to be able to figure this out very quickly. Clearly everybody knew what the word was very early on.

I got lucky for sure.

Literally used a random word generator. I got a list of 20 or so and picked one. It did occur to me that it would work in a nice way for Caesar.

I think the clues individually were decent, but as a whole (including mine) they made it pretty obvious.

Being the chameleon is much easier when you know the word.

i liked it at the time because he wrote stuff, yeah. in which case "writer" or something could be better. it's why "seven" is a good clue too. picking "books" and meaning that the person had books written about them is probably never a winning line just in general

i was considering "prose" but worried it was too narrow/telling
