Don’t Look Now (1973) – Absolute classic, see it as soon as possible. I won’t spoil anything about it though.

Pit and the Pendulum (1961), House of Wax (1953), Horror of Dracula (1958) – I’d group these together with Pit and the Pendulum being the best of the three by a margin. If you’ve seen any movie with Vincent Price then you should know what you’re in store for.

Event Horizon (1997) – Good horror set in space. If you’ve seen Pandorum then just imagine that sort of style but this is much better.

Sphere (1998) Chronicle (2012) – Sphere is a guilty pleasure and Chronicle is critically the better movie but both are much more sci fi than horror.

The Frighteners (1996), Serial Mom (1994) – Both good but much more comedy than horror.

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane (1962) – Drama sure, Tense yes, Horror nah. Very good movie though.

Don’t Breathe (2016) – A cheaper, cheesier more predictable horror but one of the better ones of its sort.

Kill List (2011), Sightseers (2012) – Both the same director and both good but Kill List is much better if you ask me. The plot is not similar at all but I’m reminded a lot about The Wicker Man with this because of a shared device which I won’t spoil. Sightseers has a bit more comedy but is still very good.

The Neon Demon (2016) – This has a lot of layers, themes, and is very stylish. Great movie by the same director as Drive.

The Girl with All the Gifts (2016) – Zombie movie, well above average but not a masterpiece.

My Wrongs 8245-8249 and 117 (2002) – Great short film by Chris Morris. I love all of his stuff so I’m perhaps biased but I’m sure you can spare 12 minutes to watch it when it’s available on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc_BGJhMA2s

The Unknown (1927) is a silent movie made by the same guy that made Freaks. It’s not as good as Freaks but it’s one of those movies that “good for its time”.

I Walked with a Zombie (1943) is not a zombie movie. It’s about voodoo and the zombie person has been possessed. It’s another one of those movies that good for its time.

Unfriended (2015) I thought this was great. It’s a simple idea and low budget and it kept me entertained until the end. Gimmick is that the whole movie is shown from the point of view of someone’s computer screen.

I also really disliked Hostel and The Human Centipede. Pretty much anything that's gratuitous (with the exception of Dead Alive).
thanks for the recs, i will def watch some of these.

Yeah that is a great bts!

Sadly the guy is quitting his YouTube channel because of fighting with copyright. But his videos are all up on his FB page I think. They are really good!

If you bought $100 of bitcoin 7 years ago, you'd be sitting on $72.9 million

I haven't seen the movie for a few years, but I don't think that would make a whole lotta sense.

Bryce, have you seen Frailty? I think that would be right up your alley.

you guys should sell your coins. im trying to buy them. yesterday coinbase wouldn't let me creat an account for some reason. when i finally got one, it wouldn't let me add bank account.

today when i tried to add my bank account, they said i added to many bank accounts today, and to try again in 24 hours.

then they sent me an email that my account was incomplete and i needed to add my bank account.

Uhoh... That can't be any clearer of a sell signal... (Bitcoin is now at 2300)

BTW use multibit/keepkey to store your coins. Remember they are like cash. Lose them, your money is gone.

never heard of multibit. had no idea i need it. thanks mark!

btw, you'd die at what i'm spending on lyft. it's about $22 a ride before tip, so like ~$50 round trip

but you'd love how the casino feeds me for free. and the food is good too. i heard i get $3 an hour, and the food is really cheap. so a 5 hour session easily pays for a good meal

Doesn't sound THAT bad... You should look into the super cheap barebones rental car companies. You can probably get a single day for $25ish after taxes.

that sounds good until one night you are driving down the freeway and the front falls off

I use https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com to store my coins. one copy in my safe + one copy in my safety deposit box

If you're looking to buy coins, people are buying/selling them all day long in the HSNL p2p transfer thread. Prolly your best bet to look there.

maybe zipcar?

buying a car is really crazy. seriously.

you end up spending what, 50k? after you add in all the costs. and cars are killing the planet and fueling oil wars, and 100 americans die every day from car crashes.
