I don't want to get too politics/philosophy/ethics up in here, but Breivik said one of the major reasons for what he did is because Norway was being ethnically cleansed.

Obviously Brevik is a sociopath, and holds incredibly extreme views, but it raised the question with me as to what it means to be ethnically cleansed.

Seems to me that the view that your ethnicity should not assimilate itself into other ethnic groups (inter-marriage) is absolutely ****ing crazy. But, don't tons of people believe that?

I'm sure there are a lot of cities/villages in Africa and India that make Bakersfield look like Shangri-La.
