Re: Pog Pub - May 2012 (LC) - Now with even more gimmicks! NSFW
There are alpacas near our house, in a farm that also has emus, yaks, llamas and some other crap. There are also some up near my in-laws in wales, most particularly some which you can see across the valley, farmed by some gentleman/woman farmers.
I looked into them with some others of my extended family, they seem to be ridiculously expensive, unless the ones we were checking out were thoroughbred alpacas. They look weird.

A good female for breeding is like 18k, but after a couple years you either can make that back if you breed a female, or have 3-4X the value of the original 18k.

of course i can't top elliot's supreme court story. my story seems kind of sad and pitiful in a way, but i was so excited and proud. it was 20 years ago i was boxing and an over the hill roberto duran came to train at our gym and i sparred with him and held my own.

I'd rather be quoted by Knuth than cited by The Twelve.

So what exactly can you get for $5 on the site? Some of the services include pretending to be one's girlfriend on Facebook for a set period of time, sending text message to an individual, and one user who simply promises, "I will be here for you."

Re: Pog Pub - May 2012 (LC) - Now with even more gimmicks! NSFW
from the Knuth wiki:
"After producing the third volume of his series in 1976, he expressed such frustration with the nascent state of the then newly developed electronic publishing tools (especially those that provided input to phototypesetters) that he took time out to work on typesetting and created the TeX and METAFONT tools.
As of 2012, the first three volumes and part 1 of volume four of his series have been published.

Well, this year, the Supreme Court decided the issue. Unanimously. And I was right, and the courts were wrong. AND they cited my note.
I feel ridiculously vindicated by this.

Wow. That's awesome. Congrats.
