Agreed that Copenhagen is super-walkable.

The Little Mermaid statue is stupid. The area is worth going to for Kastellet and the Gefion Fountain.

I liked Christiania quite a bit, but it may have changed a lot since I was there. There's a church nearby (Vor Frelsers Kirke) that has a spiral staircase on the outside of the spire. Gives you a really cool view of the city. A lot of the churches there are great.

Nyhavn was nice to walk around, but if you don't get there, it's no big deal.

I'm also a huge fan of Le Carre but he's much more cerebral than Deighton. I think you're right that Deighton has a bit of tongue in cheek, takes himself a bit less seriously. Le Carre is the bomb though imo.

KIOSHK, spurs had a great win over the pelicants last night. i think they might end up in the 1 seed, to be perfectly honest. just need to beat the woyas twice at home and then hold down the fort against some SCRUB teams. somehow the spurs are playing on national tv 10 of their last 22 games, lol

Anarchist, great Spurs win over T-Wolves last night too. Kawhi has had 30+ in 3 straight games now and filling up the stat sheet. The real MVP imo! Very well might catch GS while Durant is out, like 3 back now.

eb, a friend of mine was heading to Iceland, so I told him to hit the Hið Íslenzka Reðasafn. Upon his arrival back in the states, I got a text from him:

wow, thanks for all the support guys. that's really nice.

i have a great opportunity right now to move to LA. this great couple will rent me a room in their house and help me get started. we all went to school together in SF.
