Dean is a good debater but sometimes subscribes to the "if I say I'm being logical enough people will believe it" fallacy

It's not a fallacy. I just honestly believe that many of my opinions align very closely with the truth, and that if I articulate the logic that I hope some people might see what I see as well. I don't really care to "win" any debate.

Obviously it really depends on the circumstances and the underlying assumptions that certain people have worked with. I assume that people like dkgo and those who think he's right haven't met very many models in real life and are thinking of the archetype of their masturbation fantasies when they hear "model" so they won't agree due to pre-existing biases. There's not really anything I can do about it, it's like trying to convince an NBA casual fan that LeBron is > Kobe when in their world rangzzz are all that matter- it can't be done bc you can't walk somebody down the correct logical paths when they are working with a different set of operative assumptions.

Other than that I'm not really sure what he's "right" about because he didn't really have a point that ran counter to anything I think/said so I'm a bit perplexed as to what people are precisely agreeing with.

RIGHT NOW labron is a better basketball player. Kobe has undoubtedly had the better career. so both could be right depending on what they are talking about.
