Ok so the issue is that the digital speedometer on my car was inaccurate. I thought I was going 72. He clocked me at 89. He bumped it down by a lot. I'll pay $84.

My only speeding ticket was a 92 in a 70 13 years ago. I was ready to merge into the exit lane of my final exit on a 6 hour trip. I was not happy, but it's not like it was anybody elses fault.

Hello POG low content thread. I don't see your Super Bowl prop bets thread yet. In the meantime, you can play in mine HERE. It's not as elegant or timely, but I think it's fun.

You could be like Tuma & end up with a fantastic, topical undertitle such as "Hockey!"

I've had 3 speeding tickets in my life, all under the age of 21, and all in mother****in Virginia. I've never even lived in Virginia!!

90 is fast. I guess if the speedometer says what it says you believe it, but wow.

Yea, Virginia is literally the worst. It's practically a damn police state compared to NC. On the trail we actually had a lot of issues in Northern VA and most of PA which was surprising to me. Those damn game wardens in PA are uptight as ****

I've gotten speeding tickets in Texas, Georgia, & Kansas. Never anywhere I've actually lived...

Did you convert this sentence to Welsh and then back to English?

I was ticketed for speeding on a jet ski once

That's...interesting.

I got a ticket, but lost it, got another ticket going back to the place I thought I'd left it, then found it in my coat.

It was on the intracoastal waterway in Florida. Apparently I was going through a no-wake zone, and missed the sign somehow. They threw on their sirens and lights, pulled me over right there in the canal, threw me a rope and then tugged me over boatside and wrote me a speeding ticket.

It was a friend's jet ski and I couldn't get into the water-tight compartment, so I had to drive it home on the waterway while holding the ticket over my head to keep it dry. Sigh..

No moving violations in over 10 years. From 16 to 26 I was a damn mess, even lost my license for a year. 26 to 36 was much improved. 36 to now nothing.

That's kind of hilarious actually. But yes, they do take those no-wake zones super serious down here.

There are parking lots at Warren Wilson College that have speed limits of 4 and 7 mph.

Take my license, all that jive.
I can't drive 55!

Driving into Virginia is always a treat thanks to the signs along the freeway -- speed limits enforced by aircraft.

I wonder when they'll arm the drones and start bombing speeders.
