An aggressive response would be to attack Iran, which Obama won't do

Re: POG Politics Thread
Israel is going to make air strikes against Iran's nuclear capabilities in the next couple of months.

I'm not sure what you mean by that? Obama will be happy when Israel attacks Iran, as it will give him an excuse to send in the troops and occupy.

Re: POG Politics Thread
It's not clear to me at all that Obama is hoping to be able to occupy Iran and I'm wondering why you think that he is?

Re: POG Politics Thread
Because if he didn't have designs on Iran, he wouldn't be destroying their economy

Obama just needs to get all the domino's lined up. Regime change is the only real long term answer and Obama knows it. He just needs to convince Iran to throw the first stone. I assume/hope Iran is sly enough to not bite.
If I was Iran, if US/Israel/World continues with this covert war, I would probably start one on my own. Increase funding or supply better arms to Lebanon and Mexican Drug Cartels. A destabilized Mexico has to be good in Iran's book.

No child left behind is such a terrible piece of legislation, I can't even begin to describe how completely terrible it is.
Dont forget hurricane Katrina. He called kanye's comment the worst moment of his presidency, so even he knows he ****ed that up.

Re: POG Politics Thread
I think the Iranian people are ripe for a revolution. When pres Ahmadinejad spoke at a high school, kids lit firecrackers to fake a bomb. When you have hs kids doing that, its a pretty good sign people are not down.

Re: POG Politics Thread
Stuxnet was actually pretty smart, I wonder who initiated that project. Has to fall into a Bush legislature or earlier. Was certainly developed before 24 September 2007 my specualtion would be it was developed sometime shortly after 9/11 and then someone released it after the Columbia speech.
I'm undecided on the origin but I give Israel a slight edge over the US followed by random. There was probably some sort of collaboration and if either Israel or the US designed and released it I'm sure the other knew.

Israel > US as the only 2 i think were responsible. No chance this was privately funded.

Honestly it's really stuff like this that makes it hard for me to want to give republicans a chance. I feel like I'm a pretty good candidate to be "conservative" but if this is conservatism than please count me out.
(VDARE.com is a, uh, interesting site. )
