Not much to play out after the last two moves. Super interesting game until the blunder though, great job both!

For kibitzers:

Spoiler:
On one hand, I have an interesting decision. I usually play the Volga gambit and the Nimzo with equal frequency against 1. d4, but I feel the Volga might not be the best choice for correspondence chess. Also I played the Gruenfeld when I was younger. On the other hand, I don't want to make gambit wait for move number 2.

This round could be bad for me with WCOOP starting Sunday and away in Tuscany for a few days from next Sunday. Hopefully I don't mess up too badly

I don't think diagrams are needed for such an early stage of the game. On the other hand, I am not going to stop you from posting them

I stand corrected. Looked at it with an engine. I had thought that:

33. d5 fxg4??
34. Qxf7+! Kxf7
35. dxe6+! and then 36. Rxd8 can't be stopped, and white would be up a clean rook.

However I missed that 35. ... Ke7!! keeps it really interesting (though still favoring white, and stronger than the continuation played on lichess).

wait, wat?

I mean white has a R & B & 2P for R & 4P endgame - right?

That's not a gimme, imo

I was shocked at first too, tchaz

but we played it out a couple ways and it stayed good for white

 maybe it is a routine win - I didn't look at the r+b+2P v r+4P position after seeing that was probably the expected line

but given that you both had blundered so far, over the board maybe it's worth playing on for black
