Now that's the kind of villagery question I'd have expected from someone who claims to think about stuff before putting it down into the thread. Why did it take me asking the question to you before it occurred to you though to ask it the other way around?

As to the answer - personally I didn't overly like his response it didn't read as pure in tone as I would have liked/expected and seemed to be twisty. But bearing in mind Donat3llo's post about him early on I didn't think the expected value about pressuring him further on the issue was worth it compared to seeing whether he behaves like a villager who is free to pursue their own lines of inquiry.

The village would be best served by trying a KISS approach, convoluted plots tend to be confusing dead-ends and rarely result in the lynching of a wolf. Usually ends with the village making something out of nothing and lynching a villa

By "trying to look villagery", you mean it bore hallmarks of villageriness, however forced or wan?

I don't know. Depends what a villager is curious about in that situation. You can ask someone literally anything about the game.

No, I mean it looks like someone knowing what kind of vague villager tells people generally have on D1 and trying to post in such a way as to meet them. I do not mean that I have those villager tells myself or that you met them.

As much as I would like that to soft clear me, as monte pointed out I could have done that just to say "hey, if I were a wolf they would have told me in wolf chat...".

this is the third game I have played. The first one I played I was a wolf and I played off the "im a noob idk whats going on" angle.

The second game i played I was villa, got a lot of heat from Xander and then was random'd N2 and flipped villa.

This is my third game and I am villa.

our office opens at 9am CST and I am going to be buried so I am trying to get some early posts in before I have to adult

What did I do?

I've literally played once, almost 7 years ago. I was a wolf & I posted 13 times in like 5 days & we won (mostly because the seer got pissed off & peaked a villager as a wolf).

& I assume no one had real reads after 10 minutes, though.
