I would argue that vote changing is completely within the spirit of Miss POG because we want to encourage campaigners to have WIM. And we want to encourage voters to read through the thread, looking through the evidence so they can make an informed decision, rather than being stuck with a quick vote they made. Also, we want to encourage close, exciting vote races.

The only downside is a small sacrifice of clarity. But I believe as long as people change their votes in a way that is clear and has no dispute surrounding it (i.e. they post in the thread in bold to change, and/or they pm chuckles that they are changing, etc.), then we would eliminate any risk of controversy.

It seems like there is already some precedent based on the way Anna Kendrick survived the group stage, where a deciding vote was changed due to a misclick, and a second tiebreaking vote was added by someone who never cast a 2nd vote but stated they would vote for Anna.

Ultimately, we want the people to decide who advances in each round. And so we should let people amend their vote if they feel compelled to do so, as long as its before voting for the round has closed.

Yeah, I think this would be much better with the WW counter. Just don't know the logistics of how they could do that.

I can see why from an administrative perspective, you wouldn't want to have to pour through each thread seeing if there were vote changes. But that's why I think it could be fine as long as people did it in a very clear way. Maybe put it in bold, use ## and make it red (like a shot in a WW game with ITAs). Or make people have to post + pm him the change so he doesn't have to search through anything.
