Agreed. Who did you like in the finals? Sad that Justice ****ed up her pork belly as I think she was clearly more technically proficient than the winner.

I liked the final 2 a lot. Shane the train was good. But I just don't think he had the variety he needed.

I've never used a pressure cooker before.

But every time someone on a cooking show uses one the judge FREAK OUT!!!!!! like "ZOMG! You're using THAT?!?!? ZOMG!!!!"

And often it comes out perfect!

And there's a method I use to make sure meat I fry (burgers, chicken) gets cooked in the middle. I put a bunch of water on the bottom of the pan and then cover the pan (leaving air) with a pie tin or something. The steam cooks the center through VERY fast. I saw a short order cook do that all the time at a company cafeteria once. It works really well. I wonder why I never see tv cooks do it. I guess it doesn't allow for the "rares" of meat. But it seems a great idea for chicken/pork

And I still don't think lolManny was a bad choice. He was a badass cooking meat.

He was one of the featured players on episode one. And he was someone I liked and therefore WANTED to cheer for.

We should arrange draft order ASAP so people can make lol insta picks.

Alternative selection method: allow everyone to insta pick one person they want any time via in thread post.

Draft will then snake after everyone has made 1 pick. If multiple people don't use the hasty pick option, a Rand for rest of order can be done for them.

Yea in Masterchef with 6 teams I'm thinking spots 5 and 6 are ideal with a small edge to 4 as well. Obviously depends on the spread of contestants tho

the awkward moment when the 1st overall pick is the second person on your team eliminated
