I'm alive no worries. Was told there would be WiFi where I was and there wasn't so I just got Internet for the first time in a week. I'm flying all day today and will have everything updated by Wednesday night. Everyone who joined is expected to pay so I'll check and follow up with everyone when I get home. If you haven't attempted to pay yet now would be a good time so I don't have to hunt you down.

Ok all money is accounted for except we are missing money for a Brandon Beckwith. So the prize pool sits at $980 right now unless we can confirm who it is(I have asked everyone I know and am waiting to hear back, searched his name, etc..) and I can make sure to get the money from him.

All in all a lot less headache than I expected considering the circumstances and again I apologize for the confusion but it was out of my hands.

Now for the fun part. Since I didn't have anything for payout set in stone and we have about half the people as last year I'm going to go with something fair that fits between things I have done in years past.

Clearly I was anticipating something closer to 100+ entries in my original post so we need to do some math to come to a fair payout. In 2013 we had 46 entries and did 65/25/10 and since we have half the entries as last year roughly half the amount of people should get paid (3 compared to 5). This leads us back to paying 3 and the way this bracket has paid 3 in the past is 65/25/10.

With $980 the payout would be 637/245/98 and with $1000 it would be 650/250/100

If anyone has any questions or concerns now would be the time to voice them.

Where do I apply for my refund for making such a ****ty bracket?

I think you should mail those to Costa Rica. I spent a lot of money there last week and if you sound like a Nigerian prince maybe you can get some of it.

The last hope for POG to cash (besides me I guess) is shipitup I believe.

He will get 2nd or 3rd if it's Duke > Wisconsin and will have to win tiebreaker(points) vs me. Though since I accidentally set mine at 111 in a hurry before I lost internet he shouldn't have much of a problem with that...

I did some poor calculations and now see that Brandon will get 2nd with a Wisconsin win. Didn't see that he could overtake Dan.

Anyway the two possible outcomes are

Wisconsin wins
1st- OTI
2nd - Brandon(SIU's friend)
3rd- Dan

Duke wins
1st- Dan
2nd/3rd- OTI/SIU dependent on score(where I derped hard).

Pretty sure if Duke wins, my buddy Ryan comes 2nd.

Thought that was SIU's name. Got them mixed up. Anyways yes he will probably get 2nd. He will tie me and it would be based on point total. Unfortunately I picked a horrid point total assuming I would go back and change it. Games O/U is 140 and I have under 128 and he has over 128.
