When I laid my eye on this card artwork, I knew it had to be in the game. I am quite sensitive to fitting theme artwork and will build spells around it if I can.


This is one of several Arcanes that will gain you a night action. You cast them during the day and you pick your target during the night. This is probably the first time that the card is equally priced for good&evil, normally the RB card is more expensive for the wolves. But in this case, it has a potential extra effect, if handled by a villager.

Use this on your secret wolf vampire read and if (s)he ends up having a night action, you have gotten a very good deal for your three mana!

Besides roleblocks, expects peeks, vigs, watches, tracks and maybe some other night actions to be available through cards as well. Do not expect the more powerful night actions to be common (black expansion symbol)I as well though ...

I'm shipping my laptop to HP tech support today and my old one doesn't seem to want to connect to the internet. I should have my regular one back in time for the gsme. When do you need to know absolutely if we can play?

Gabe can I play if I work 3-11 mon-Friday? I can play before work and briefly during my breaks but I'm essentially afk after 3pm central (4 eastern) so basically I'm a euro. Is that level of participation ok? I won't take it personally just don't want to screw anybody over available. Should be able to make the first phase each day if it's 1030am.

Donatello have you ever played mtg? It's not that hard. There's just a phase where you play cards then you get an attack phase. The rest is normal ww.

The relevant question is whether your schedule allows you to play one of the two main/attack phases.

Ok im in for now. I should be able to do morning phase for sure and maybe get in 2nd one. Is there pm for death or no? Just dont wanna have 5 mins for 2nd phase and dead post since mobile/hard to search mod posts etc.

I will try to do my best to send a PM to every dead player, but I definitely will not be able to do that during the Main Phase and during the Attack Phase.

In MtG III the werewolves wrecked a lot of hands due to the power of Cabal Therapy. Other effects were in the game that could attack your cards in hand.

Targeted discard effects are a disruptive tool made available to the evil team, to reduce village collusion. It makes it unwise to freely claim cards and agree on how to handle them.

MtG IV brings a card that you can use to protect your hand:



As long as you have garbage in hand, playing this card has not much use. You can decide to cycle it and draw a new card.
But as soon as you have a powerful card, this common is suddenly quite nice. And you don't necessarily have to spend the 1WU to play Ivory Mask. Maybe you have a garbage white or blue card in hand that you can easily miss and you have protected your valuable card, while preserving your precious mana!
