Theme
This is the Great Plains. Where animals and nature live as one, a peaceful place full of animals that care for each other and honor the traditions that have been passed down through the circle of life. Led by their fearless leader Mufasa, who resides on Pride Rock, the residents of the Great Plains enjoy a life of peace and tranquility and are in no fear of danger. And even better Mufasa has a son that has just been born! His name is Simba and he will one day be King of these Great Plains and will carry on the traditions created generations ago. In the Great Plains reside 14 peaceful animals, who understand and respect these customs and will do their best to keep it that way. On the other hand there are 5 mischievous animals who want to change this way of life for their own greedy reasons. It will be the peaceful animals job to rid these evil animals from the Great Plains before they take them over and destroy the circle of life. These 14 animals of the Great Plains may have nothing to worry about though as they are watched over by Mufasa and Rafiki who will do everything they can to make sure that the ways of their ancestors will be maintained and that everything will be returned to normal. But if those 5 pesky animals have something to say about it this task will not be easy, as they will kill anyone and destroy anything that comes in their way.

Re: Lion King Post Restriction Vanilla Game Thread (2/2)

I am a villager, 20 posts per day is like me playing blind, deaf, and with no limbs. I will try my best here. Not going to drop 1k word bombs though. Obviously am going to have to increase my word count quite a bit. I played one other post restriction game. So there's that. Doesn't seem like there are any qualifications here, just a hard cap of 20 posts. I need to save a decent number of posts to vote. In fact, I may vote with every single post I have here. I urge you to do the same.

I randomized the poster list and the wheel landed on cash773

Re: Lion King Post Restriction Vanilla Game Thread (2/2)

sorry for the night post, village & mod. saw the thread and kinda jumped the gun.

severely post restricted game, so gotta make em count

usually, there's a lot of fluff and cutesy stuff that we "make reads on" on d1, but we probably can't do that here. so let me just put my intro post out there for everyone else to analyze to death.

also, let me ask people not to lynch me d1 like always seems to happen. i'm getting more experienced in ww and am getting pretty good at clearing myself, but i always seem to get picked on for dumb stuff on d1 and get mislynched. and my wolf game is total aids, so you'll pick up on that pretty soon as well. i've played with a little over half of you, i'd guess, and you'll see that my villa/wolf game is starkly different.

well, there's my intro post. sorry again for night posting. let's go woalf hunting

Re: Lion King Post Restriction Vanilla Game Thread (2/2)

I wonder if someone could offer a guide on how to play a post restriction game. For one, it had occurred to me, many people's posts will sound edited and very careful & deliberate, simply because they cannot speak their minds freely and must ration their posts. This would seem to favor wolves, since one of their major tells is that they are more guarded about their wording & posting. Of course, it's rather obvious that this will generally be true for any rule change where the village has less information overall to work with.

I was reading vix's post above, and lol he sounds so different. It's like you took a bum off the street and put him in a nice suit. I'm gonna have to throw all my notes away on how vix plays, it seems.

sup br0s.

this is my first post restriction game, or at least one with a severe one like we have here. has there even been one this low?

whats the best strategy for operation... for one, i'd think we have to make our posts too wordy, but then again we kinda have to save our posts for eod

maybe try and save 10 posts for the last 2 hrs?

guess i'm in the same boat as everyone else. not sure how to save up my 20 posts (18 now!)

i like dyenimator's idea of saving most of your posts for EOD. i'm gonna do that.
