I think you're confused by the term "kamikaze". Perhaps a better term would be "minefield" or something like that.

If I've got this wrong, someone let me know.
The way I read it, you give Walter Cronkite, then you Kamikaze Walter Cronkite, so that anyone else who answered Cronkite is gone, but you survive (although, I guess if someone else also Kamikazed Walter Cronkite, you'd both be out).

Re: Kamikaze Sheep

But then you'd ace with Walter Cronkite. Acing can't be good. I guess their votes could still count.

We just need clarification.

Re: Kamikaze Sheep

Their votes still count. OP says that. It's just that everyone else who matched you gets eliminated.

Re: Kamikaze Sheep

And aces count for zero, so you can't just answer obscurely every question.

Re: Kamikaze Sheep

So what happens if 2 people kamikaze the same question?

Re: Kamikaze Sheep

Now I'm confused and would have to change my answers based on the kamikaze definition.

Kamikaze to me means that you are suiciding.

Yeah, may need to re-submit, I took it completely differently.

Sheep with a slight twist. You may set any one answer to be a "kamikaze." If any other player gives that answer, they are out of the game. (Answers for players that are out will still be counted for shipping purposes, as well as their kamikaze, but their score will not be listed in the final listing.)
The way I read this rule:

Questions:
1. Name a soccer player
2. Name a 2p2 subforum

Answers:
Player A: Beckham;POG
Payer B: Beckham;POG
Player C: Ronaldo; POG
Player D: Beckham;BBV4L
Player E: Ronaldo; POG

In traditional sheep, the results would be

Beckham - 3
Ronaldo -2

and

POG - 4
BBV4L - 1

If Player A kamikazed Beckham, he gets 3, the other two who answered Beckham are eliminated, and the two Ronaldo guys get 2. The only guys left are A, C, and E.

If player C kamikazes POG, everyone who answers POG is eliminated, except player C.

However, if player C and player E both kamikaze POG, everyone who answers POG is eliminated. Since everyone left answered POG, no one wins.

Re: Kamikaze Sheep

I didn't think the rules were that confusing. You don't kamikaze yourself, you kamikaze everyone else who answered what you answered. If you get kamikazed, all your answers still count toward sheep totals, and you'll even have a point total ... you just are eliminated from winning (even if you have the high score).
