Circle has one continuous line and I thought would be considered the simplest and most common shape. If I want to think of shapes with multiple lines, then I had lots of options (triangle, square, rectangle, etc) thus less chance of sheeping if I chose one of those.
What DM said. If someone asked me for example of a 3D shape I am thinking of a box, thus cube.
