well if i assume that they're good, sure, but why would i do that?

you could be a wolf lying about mechanics, or a villager/wolf who is ignorant of the mechanics. i just think it's mostly a waste of time, unless you really think you have something good/pertinent to add to the discussion. but a lot of times what you get are ppl herping & derping about the mech stuff bc they have no idea what's going on (or they're wolves who just wanna fill space and look busy). it's stupid and pointless, let's just play the game. make reads on players, lynch the wolfy ones who aren't trying to solve the game, profit.

imo

I endorse this post.

When you make important posts like cliffs, tables of past stuff, etc., tag the post so people can find it in search. I will tag mine like so:

I put the tag inside of quotes so when somebody quotes it, the tag goes away. Thus only the originals show up in search.

This concept is for mid-late game. You'll have players who are "must kill" and players who are "obvious villagers". Don't waste your time on them.

This is post #56 or so - a game this size always begins with fluff or mechanics. jonnyd knows this because he has played the HP games, one of which featured me wanging his wife. Make a read yourself if its so annoying. I hope you wake up to a wagon. jonnyd

I read henrik v iver - basically, I think iver talking mechanics d1 doesn't mean anything (ie henrik is wrong for calling him wolfy) but imo, Henriks accusation was more of the villager-trying-too-hard kind than a wolf trying to find a mislynch/look villagery. I will revisit that later if nothing else interesting pops up..

No - check the advice they are giving. It's nothing they couldn't post as wolf. Granted its good advice, to me its not much more clearing than posting mechanics speculation.

obv you know this and just made awesome TONE READS

Can't do this without hinting at your role?

Wasn't in it. Did you elaborate? Already bored with his moralising. As though he was in any position to instruct anyone on how to behave in a werewolf game.

Pissed only to get a small x as a wolf from Chips.

Rubbish role so I will obviously be alive deep. Come at me wolves.

Henrik, if someone does mechanics posts as their meta, they're obviously going to do it in both roles so what's the point of getting into it with them?

Anyone feel they've posted anything worth reading or just the usual combination of fluff, thin pushes and boring stuff that you could figure out for yourself if you read the OPs?

but i didn't call him wolfy. i said him talking mechanics all the live long day is role neutral for him (IMO), i said this in Awesomemash or whatever game he got vigged D1 when we were v/v. for some reason this read got him super BH, as he doesn't see himself as a mechtalk heavy player. i disagree, but w/e. i find it kinda weird that he's being so Jo Galloway about it, not sure what to make of that exactly.

dude, i just want you to make some reads. you obv have a habit of getting bogged down in mech talk as we all know. now last game when we were v/v i rightly pointed out that this is pretty role neutral for you specifically, but in general we also all know that the easiest thing in the world is for woalves to just talk mechanics all days in a mishmash where no one knows wtf is going on. so all i'm saying is be aware of it, and don't just talk mechanics all goddamn day. i know you'd love to, but make some reads lest you get blasted in the face again or something.
So you were worried that iver would be looking wolfy to the vig and catch a daykill, thats it?

It's not really but Willi's long posts are pro-village, I read them and they are nice. I dont think he'd post them as a wolf.

You are a villager on tone and I'll sponge you here, how can he possibly be dissapointed at mech talks, what should we be doing on page 1, discussing day 0 and night 0, consolidating wagons? reading ppl that are yet to post?

redonkolous

henrik, if am butthurt (yellow imo), here's why. i accurately predicted the existence of the tailor/janitor in the last game. for this service to the village, i got wagoned and subsequently shot in the face d1. if i should take another early one in the face this game for making a note involving mechanics, i am going to get MAD. so yeah, now you know where i'm coming from.
